I’m looking to start my own Smoothie/Juice Bar and have started doing research for equipment to use….Geex, there are soo many choices.

So if any of you out there work at a Smoothie/Juice Bar or cafe type deal I’d love for you to chime in.

I’d like to know what brand or manufacturer do companies use. If you’re an employee at Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Panera Bread, Etc…could you take a look at the brand name of the following:

Blenders
Juicers
Coffee Maker (not the cappecina, latte, foam thing, just a regular coffee maker)
refrigerators/freezer
Soup Warmers
ice machine.

and anything else I may have forgotten

Whenever I make a smoothie, I like it to have little chunks of ice in it (kind of like the iced fraps at Starbucks) but it always turns out more blended than I’d like it (I hope this makes sense). Is there a certain setting on a blender that can give me this consistency (blend, pulse, crush, etc)?
